Giorgi Dimitradze Wins the EEBC Pyramid Cup 2026
20.04.2026From April 18 to 20, 2026, the international free pyramid tournament — EEBC Pyramid Cup — was held in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Giorgi Dimitradze, a member of the Ajara national team and a Master of Sports, took part in the tournament.
Giorgi delivered an outstanding performance: after losing in the Round of 16, he advanced through the lower bracket to reach the quarterfinals, where he defeated Yury Svitkovsky, the winner of the Prague stage of the European Senior Cup, with a score of 4:3. He then confidently beat Germany’s Max Timmetz 5:1 in the semifinals, and in the final, he secured another 5:1 victory against Czech player Dmitry Dmitrov, becoming the EEBC Cup champion.
